Our Sunday School classes range from age 3 to 5th grade and meet from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. These age groups are using the Faith Weaver Curriculum produced by Group Publishing. Some adult classes enjoy companion Sunday School lessons, and families are able to take home and discuss materials that they all studied in their respective classes. Sunday School classes also feature music time led by Steve and Terri Leszczyszn.

Children age 3 through 3rd grade meet in the Wesley Center, and the 4th and 5th grades meet in the Education Building. Join us each week as we grow closer to God through Faith Weaver and with the leadership of our wonderful teachers.

Each week during the 10:45 a.m. worship services -- about 20 minutes into the service -- children are dismissed to go to one of three different Children’s Churches...

Lambs
Lambs is for children age 3 through 5-year-old kindergarten. They meet in the John Rowland Class in the Education Building where they are led by parent volunteers in a time of learning and activity. This is a structured time of learning so that the children can continue to grow spiritually even when they are not in the regular services. Parents pick their children up and sign them out when their church service has concluded.

Lions
Lions is for 1st through 3rd grade and meets in the Media Center below the sanctuary. Led by Jim Magann and other volunteers, this is a time for learning the elements and aspects of worship and their meaning. Parents may come pick up their child and sign them out after the conclusion of their worship service.

Sonshine Saints
Union offers a special needs ministry including Sunday school and Children’s Church during the entire worship hour. This ministry is open to children of various ages with different special needs. Parents are strongly encouraged to remain on site while their child or children attend these programs.
